Prevention of juvenile crime at elementary schools

Object of this work should evaluate the current implementation of crime prevention in connection with regional differences. The work focus on the description of the potential relationship between crime in primary school students, prevention of risky behavior thematically focused on crime prevention and the region in which children grow up. Specifically, it should be the relationship between crime in Ústí nad Labem and České Budějovice. The results of the survey could be used as a basis for increasing the effectiveness of preventing and discouraging crime at an early age in accordance with the individual conditions of individual regions. The survey should be based mainly on analyzes of the content of prevention programs of selected primary schools in the above-mentioned regions, as well as on data from available crime statistics kept by the police of Czech republic, Department of Social and Legal Protection of Children and misdemeanor commissions of individual districts. Furthermore, the work was based on the experience of staff (crime prevention methodologists) who deal with the issue of school crime prevention in practice.
Psychological aspects of criminality of youth

The diploma thesis deals with juvenile delinquency and its causes. The aim of this work is to clarify what are the causes of juvenile delinquent behavior and how such behavior can be prevented through social work. The work contains a total of five chapters and begins with the definition of youth and the characteristics of adolescence, its changes and identity. Then it deals with socialization and its factors, which are an important factor in adolescence. The next part is devoted to risky behavior and juvenile delinquency. Attention is paid mainly to the motivation of criminal behavior and juvenile delinquency from the point of view of socialization disorders. The last part is devoted to social work in the context of prevention of socially pathological phenomena and deals mainly with prevention and tools of social work with regard to juvenile delinquency.
Child criminality and juvenile delinquency

The Bachelor thesis Juvenile delinquency children andteenager´scriminality is dedicated to illegal acts of teenagers. In the theoretical part which is based on the study of the scientific literature the basic terminology is introduced. Furthermore, the specific signs of the adolescence are defined and causes and consequences of the teenager criminal acts related to it are listed there. There are also listed types of criminal activity as well as preventive approach possibilities. The practical part consists of young delinquents casestudies, which are supplemented by their pedagogues information. Predetermined research questions were answered on the basis of the case studies analysis.

The bachelor's thesis responds to the current issues of juvenile delinquency. The aim of the work is to analyze the statistical data of the Police of the Czech Republic and to map the captured criminal activity of children and youth. Break it down and compare it according to selected types of crime in the South Bohemian Region and in the Czech Republic, namely for the period 2009 - 2019. Assess whether it has an increasing or decreasing tendency. In the theoretical part, describe the concepts of minors, juveniles and criminal liability of juveniles from the perspective of criminal law, as well as the basic legal norms governing this area. Furthermore, to outline a basic view of the criminal responsibility of juveniles from the perspective of personality psychology and how this view is reflected in criminal law.
Mediation of juvenile delinquents

(in English): This thesis deals with a restorative justice, or the most widespread method, which represents the mediation. This method is then described in the standard form used in the Czech Republic as well as in the redesigned version adapted for violent crime in the US, which is contained in the first theoretical part. In the practical part, these two forms of mediation are compared with each other. Different moments are then reflected on three case studies, where appeared a mediation of violent juvenile crime. The results of comparison shows that the modified parameters of meidation used in case of violent crimes were not in these case studies demonstrated. This may be due to the fact that all the actionswere of less violent severity, so the differen elements of mediation didnť have to be necesery exploited.
Methods of investigation of crimes committed by juvenile

This work is focused on understanding of juvenile crime and delinquency. At the beginning I try to explain the basic concepts and give information about juvenile crime from statistics, which should show a development of juvenile delinquency at time in our country. A base of my work is composed of methods of investigation of crimes committed by juvenile. A special attention is paid to causes of their delinquency so we could suggest a prevention of youth criminality. We can ensure how they commit crimes, typical kinds of motives and their personality charakteristics. Personality of the juveniles is very specific so people acting with them must be extra-careful. It concerns mainly specialities in hearing of childrem. At the close I am thinking about possibilities of prevention of the juveniles'asocial behavior.
Youth Violent Delinquency in the Czech Republic based on comparison of ISRD-2 and ISRD-3

The following thesis examines the violent juvenile delinquency of the Czech youth and has supportive evidence from two sweeps of the International Self-Report Delinquency Study (ISRD). The first sweep in the Czech Republic was conducted in 2006/7 (ISRD-2) and the second sweep was conducted in 2013 (ISRD-3). The theoretical section focuses on risk factors, which are linked with violent delinquency, and theoretical foundations of aforesaid research ISRD. The theoretical foundations of aforesaid research are primarily social control theories. The remaining part of the thesis centres around a statistical analysis, which compares two data sets primarily focusing on violent delinquency, victimization and gender differences. Furthermore, the link between family bonds and parental supervision with violent delinquency is analysed, followed by a comparison of sample cases from Prague, Pilsen and the remainder of the Czech Republic. The final conclusions display that the prevalence of violent delinquency and gender difference in violent delinquency has decreased significantly. The link between family bonds and violent delinquency was proven to be statistically significant and the same can be stated for parental supervision, although the relations were not proven to be very strong. Causes and Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of juvenile delinquency, its causes and ways of prevention in various types. In addition to the theoretical part, which describes in detail the issues of this specific part of criminal law, the thesis also has a practical part, which is a graphical comparison of the most common types of crimes committed by juveniles and sanctions imposed on juveniles. Last but not least, the work deals with crime prevention, its types and practical example of implementation. Based on the information obtained, it can be stated that juvenile delinquency is currently on a declining trend and the judicial authorities are increasingly emphasizing the so-called restorative justice, which also aims to re-educate the perpetrator, not just his own punishment. The possible solutions of juvenile criminal liability in the European context

The thesis thoroughly examines the issue of response to juvenile delinquency and potential solutions of their criminal liability in the European context. The thesis describes the historical development of approach to juvenile delinquency, as well as basic models of youth justice. The important part of the thesis focuses on comparative analyses of selected foreign legislation, namely the legal order of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In depth are analyzed penalty systems of those countries and their mutual comparison. Further part is dedicated to evaluation of selected sanctions in terms of their effectiveness based on knowledge about recidivism of juvenile offenders. In relation to effectiveness of sanctions the thesis deals with question how to influence different types of juvenile offenders from the perspective of developmental criminology, especially chronic offenders. Author pays attention to the phenomenon of chronic juvenile offenders, formulates risk factors used to identify and predict the life-course delinquency. The Issue of an Offender's Personality in Criminology Abstract The major topic of my diploma thesis is the issue of an offender's personality in criminology. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the reader to the issue from criminological perspective, to make him familiar with various opinions on an offender's personality which have developed throughout the history, and to describe the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency and criminality against children and juveniles. The cardinal topic of the first part is scientific discipline criminology with its historical roots, distribution to particular subdisciplines, and relation to other criminal sciences. The second part provides a summary of main criminological schools and theories which have been formed since the beginning of criminological thinking and had different opinions on offender and his personality. The term criminal offender has various meanings from the view of substantive criminal law, procedural criminal law, and the view of criminology. These meanings are explained in the third part.
